The Generac 200A Automatic Transfer Switch RXGW20SHA3 works with any Generator using an Evolution or Nexus Controller. The RXGW20SHA3 integrates a load center with pass-through lugs to protect your main breaker panel and supply your outbuildings via circuit breakers in the load center.

Generac Load Center 200A Automatic Transfer Switch

A RXGW20SHA3 Generac 200A Load Center Automatic Transfer Switch works with your Evolution or Nexus equipped Generac standby generator on service equipment up to 200 amps. Equipped with an open transition, heavy duty contactor, the ATS disconnects the utility lines before connecting the generator. Pass through lugs supply your home’s main panel while circuit breakers in the load center protect outbuildings.

A NEMA 3R rated aluminum enclosure with a powder-coat baked on finish allows installation outdoors or indoors for years of service. The wall mounted ATS installs between the electric utility meter and the main service panel.

An integrated load center can supply outbuildings like a shed, garages, and barns. It accepts up to 20 standard 1-inch circuit breakers from Siemens, Murray, Square D, and Eaton. Also accepts GFCI, AFCI breakers. With tandem breakers, it can serve up to 40 circuits. Circuit breakers for the load center are not included and may be purchased locally.

The integrated Smart A/C Module (SCAM) allows the Generac 200A Automatic Transfer Switch to manage 4 central air conditioners with no additional hardware required. Smart Switch Power Management allows a smaller, more fuel-efficient generator to supply more 240-Volt loads by running them when power is available. One load stops, and the ATS allows the next to start.

Optional Smart Management Modules (sold separately) allow the Generac Load Center 200-Amp ATS to manage 8 additional 240-Volt loads. SMMs allow the Smart Switch to manage appliances like water heaters, deep well pumps, electric dryers, and electric ranges.

The load center can power individual circuits through a circuit breaker or supply separate sub-panels for each building.

Compatibility with Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCI) and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) provides code compliance and additional safety. The ability to use tandem breakers extends the capability of the Generac 200A Automatic Transfer Switch to more circuits for greater versatility.
